Hello class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 

It’s Thursday, September 29th, 2016.

It's cloudy today.

I hope you all enjoyed the stories about Santa Monica and Las Vegas. I want you to visit those cities someday. 

Our speakers yesterday were Mei and Mayu.
Mei talked about her summer vacation. Every year, her family go to Nakagi in Izu during the summer vacation.  At the beautiful beach, she meets spiny lobsters, morays, and many more kinds of fish. It's Mei's favorite place to visit and she said we all should go there someday.
Mayu talked about her best memory of the summer. She is a member of Suginami Children Choir. There are about 200 members from 3 year-old children to collage students. They have a concert tour once a year in summer and it lasts for a month. They have even appeared in TV shows and chorused.

I tried to get up at five to go jogging this morning but I failed to get up so early.
I hope to get up at five tomorrow morning.
want 以外にも、「to+動詞」と組み合わせることで、「〜することを...する」の表現に使う動詞を学習しましたね。

Our speaker yesterday was Yuina and Takuto.
Yuina talked about her favorite meal. Her favorite meal is a Christmas dinner. This year, she spent time with her grandma and aunt's family. They ate stuffed chicken, bread, and ajillo. They also went to Omotesando to buy Christmas presents.
Takuto talked about his summer vacation. He is a member of the school brass band and plays the trumpet. He had a school band competition this summer. Their band practiced so hard for it and received a silver prize. It was his best memory of the summer.

It’s Tuesday, September 20th, 2016.

It's rainy today.

What do you want to eat for lunch today? What do you want to be in the future? What movie do you want to see next? など、want toを使って〜したい、の表現を学習しました。

Our speakers yesterday were Hajime and Risa.
Hajime talked about her favorite meal. Her favorite meal is a special dinner with soba noodles. She had a chorus competition the other day, and after the competition, she had a special dinner with her parents at a soba restaurant. She often eats udon noodles because it's easier to cook, but she likes soba better. Cold soba noodles with dipping sauce is especially her favorite.
Risa talked about her favorite meal, a New Year's dinner. Her relatives and her family all get together at her grandparents' house in Tokyo. They eat festive red bean rice, stake, fish, seaweed soup, and rice cake and fruit for dessert.  She stays at her grandparents' house over night with her sister. She likes the special day every year.

Most of you will have school festivals soon. I hope everyone will enjoy the greatest time with your schoolmates and families. 

Our speakers yesterday were Aoi and Shiho.
Aoi talked about her favorite meal. Her favorite meal is a Halloween dinner. She usually has pumpkin pie and pumpkin puddings for dessert at the dinner.  She enjoys making them with her mom and they use a whole pumpkin to make them. She especially likes pumpkin pie. She wants to dress up as a devil this year.
Shiho talked about her favorite meal. She likes a birthday dinner. Her birthday is coming in November. Her mom usually cooks some dishes like sparerib, salad and fruit dessert. She likes her mom's sparerib the best. It is so delicious.
She will put fourteen candles on a cake this year.

Hello class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 

It’s Tuesday, September 13th, 2016.

It's rainy today.

Our speakers yesterday were Mao, Satsuki and Aika.
Mao talked about her favorite meal. It is a birthday dinner and she enjoys it very much because she can eat special dishes and also get birthday presents from her parents and grandparents. She likes cheese cake and she sometimes makes it herself, but she doesn't like any kind of fruits, so she never eats fruit cake.
Satsuki talked about her school routine. She gets up early in the morning and usually goes to school by bus. She does Kendo after school. She loves doing Kendo and has three bamboo swords. She showed us a picture of her Kendo team. It was really cool. She likes listening to music in her free time.
Aika talked about her favorite meal. She likes a Christmas Eve dinner. Her mom starts cooking at noon and a lot of guests come over to her house in the evening. They eat stuffed chicken, teriyaki chicken, liver paste on baguette, soup and cake. Lemon tart is her favorite dessert for Christmas cake.

Lesson Report Junior-2 September 8th

Hello class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 

It’s Friday, September 9th, 2016.

It's sunny today.

Our speakers yesterday were Riku and Yuki.
Riku talked about his favorite meal. It is a birthday dinner and his birthday is coming soon.  He usually celebrates his birthday with his family at home and his mom cooks some dishes for him. This year, he wants to eat chicken and rice and also wants soccer keeper gloves for his birthday present. He likes a birthday dinner because he can eat a variety of food.
Yuki talked about her favorite meal. She likes Chinese New Year's dinner. It's between January and February. Her family usually cook a variety of dishes all by themselves.  They are roast duck, fish, fried shrimp chips, steamed rice and vegetables.  She likes roast duck the best because the skin is very crispy and juicy.  She likes the dinner because Chinese New Year is an important festival for them and her family can get together that time.

It's sunny and very hot today.

Our speaker today was Ayami.
Ayami talked about her favorite meal. She likes New Year's Eve dinner. Her family eat year-crossing noodles, Toshikoshi-soba on New Year's Eve, but she doesn't like soba very much. She likes the dinner because she can eat a lot of ice cream on the day. She ate three scoops of ice cream last year. She can also stay up late and watch TV for a long time on New Year's Eve.
