Lesson Report Junior-1 January 25th

Hello J1 class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 
It’s Thursday, January 25th, 2018.
It's sunny but freezing today.

過去形の作文や長文を中心に、これまでの文法学習をおさらいしながら、たくさん声に出して練習できましたね。また、be動詞の過去形も新たに学習しました。It was a very long lesson last night but you all did a great job!!!  次回月曜日はJ1最後のレッスンです。気を引き締めて臨みましょう。

- Cathy is one of Monica’s old friends from college. They wrote and performed their original plays in college.
Can Cathy work with Monica to write and perform a play? Why? Why not?
- She can’t work with Monica because she will be too busy to do anything but her job at college.
What is Monica going to do?
- She is going to start working on her original play which will be performed during spring break.
Practice: Check page 48 (Relative pronouns and past forms)
Practice making a summary: Cathy calls Monica to tell her she will be too busy to work with her on their original play. Monica can perform her play during spring break. Because it comes in two months, she needs work hard.

What will happen if Jose’s idea works well?
Answers:
- He gives her a lot of energy when he is watching her play.
- He is thinking of filming their interviews and conversations among members.
- The Pov Pobs will get four times bigger audience than other indie bands if many people know them on the Internet.
Practice making a summary: After Pa’s band practice, Jose says he is going to film the members. Pa thinks it’s too early but Jose’s idea is filming not their performance but their interviews and conversations. He says if many people know about the band, it will get four times bigger audience than other indie bands.

Here is an example: 
got up at six-thirty on Sunday. I washed my face and then I had pancake and milk for breakfast. My mom made it for me. I left home for the station around eight. I had a basketball game in the morning.  I went to Tachikawa and played basketball against Ocean Junior High School. My parents went shopping in Kichijoji in the morning.  They wanted some new clothes. It was sunny, so they walked there. In the afternoon, we had tea and cake together at home and talked about my basketball game. I also studied math and English for my exams. I learned twenty new English words. It took me thirty minutes. I was very tired, so I went to bed early. Thank you.
