Listen to the story
=> Ask what they heard. Why isn’t Naoki there with Yoko and Sho? Who else are joining them?
=> Repeating (with CD) => Practice reading aloud
Task: Write down the summary of Lesson 170 by the teacher. => Speak to Edmodo.
Sho and Yoko arrived at the art gallery first while Naoki is looking for a parking place. Mari says she got a call from David that he and his editor are on their way. Sho brought his Grandpa’s special soup and asks for a place to heat it up.

- Tell them they are going to write about a person they like.
- Read the questions in [Introduction]. Give them some examples. => Have them write the person and the reason.
- Read the questions in [Body-1: Background of the person] Give them some examples. => Have them write the person and the reason.
Go through the questions in the same manner.
[Writing 10 min.]
Write an essay about the person they like using the notes they have made.
