Chef Lorenzo comes to Ayane’s table to ask what dessert they would like.

Listen to the story. => Retell in three sentences. => Practice in pairs. 

He tells them they recommend two kinds of desert, gelato and Italian ice.

Ayane decides to have a pistachio gelato. 

Can-do practice: past participles Practice the sentences.

(p. 46-) Lesson 109

Talk about the picture: Pick a student to describe the situation.

A woman with a man sitting next to Rio’s table tells the man about Rio. 

Listen to the story putting slashes. => Slash reading all together.

Repeat the story. => Shadowing.

#1-b. Make sentences. => Repeat what a partner says.

#2 Do it together. 

(p. 148) #3 Demonstrate how to do. => Practice in pairs.

#4 Complete the conversation between Luna and Jennifer individually. => Check the answers. => Practice the conversation in pairs and give a partner an original sentence at the end.

Listen and repeat with the textbook closed. => Say the sentences from Japanese.

Exercise-3 

#1-a. Make sentences together. => Work in pairs.
