Lessons 71 and 72 => Shadowing and rewriting the summary from the last time. => Practice the corrected summary. => Speak to the partner.

Lesson 73
-       Look at the picture => Say what they can tell from the picture.
-       Listen to the CD and answer the questions:
              Is Yoko taking things easy after she returns from the hospital?
              What did Sho learn while Yoko was at the hospital?
              What does Yota say is important to win a soccer game.
              Who should Sho talk with about the ryokan?
-       Read the text aloud in class 
-       Activity: Memorize the conversation and practice it in pairs.

Lesson 74
-       Look at the picture => Say what they can tell from the picture.
-       Listen to the CD and answer the questions:
What happened five years ago?
What does Sho’s mom do every year?
How long hasn’t Sho seen his mother?

-       Listen and repeat, then make a summary orally individually. => Work in pairs.
-       Study the model: Sho is thinking about a big fight between his mom and Yoko. It was five years ago and his mom left the ryokan. Sho hasn’t seen her since then although his mom sends him a birthday card every year.
-       Post a summary to Edmodo.
-       Activity: When was the last time you watched a movie/ate curry and rice/swam in the pool.
