Lesson 71

-       Look at the picture => Say what they can tell from the picture.

-       Listen to the CD and answer the questions:

              What is Masae going to do for the ryokan?

              What is one thing Masae doesn’t think it’s good?

              When is David going to be back to the ryokan?

              What does David want to do?

             

-       Listen and repeat, then make a summary orally individually. => Work in pairs.

-       Study the model: Masae, Hanasato Ryokan’s former head server helps the ryokan until Yoko gets better. She is worried because there are only a few guests. She tells Sho David is coming back in four days and has a couple of plans to tell him.

-       Post a summary to Edmodo.

-       Activity: Study the examples of reporting on pages 46-47. => Have a conversation in pairs about their plan for the weekend and make a report.

-       Look at the picture => Say what they can tell from the picture.

-       Listen to the CD and answer the questions:

What is Sho going to do with the housework?

What about Naoki?

What did Sho find from the list?

-       Read the text aloud in class.

-       Activity: Study the examples on pages 50-57. => Have a conversation in pairs about what they do with the housework
