Day 3 => When are you coming back to Japan? – Haruna asks Jenny when she is coming back to Japan.

 

Why don’t we go to Kamakura. => How about going to Kamakura?

=> Haruna suggests they go to Kamakura.

 

What’s Kamakura famous for? => Jenny asks Haruna what Kamakura is famous for. 

 

There are a lot of old temples and shrines to visit in Kamakura. => You can enjoy visiting many temples and shrines.

 

 

Day 4 => Do you want to go back? => Haruna asks Jenny if she wants to go back.

 

Let’s get something cold. => Why don’t we get something cold?  How about getting something cold?  

Jenny suggests getting something cold. 

 

Is shaved ice popular in Singapore? => Haruna asks Jenny if shaved ice is popular in Singapore.

Task

Write in English: 

Day3　陽菜はジェニーに2人とも日本に帰ってきたら遊びに行けるね、といいます。

Haruna says to Jenny they can hang out together after both of them come back to Japan.

 

ジェニーに鎌倉に着くのにどのぐらいの時間がかかるかと聞かれ、陽菜は2時間ぐらいだと答えます。

When Jenny asks Haruna how long it takes to get to Kamakura, Haruna answers it takes about two hours.

 

Day 4 鎌倉に着いた時、ジェニーが外はとても暑いと言います。陽菜は冗談ですが、彼女に電車に戻りたいかと聞きます。

When they get to Kamakura, Jenny says it’s so hot outside. Haruna asks her if she wants to go back inside the train, but she is just joking. 

 

陽菜はかき氷の旗を見つけ、ジェニーにそれを食べないかと提案します。

Haruna finds a shaved ice flag, and she suggests having it.
