Do you have any plans for summer vacation? => Jenny asks Haruna if she has any plans for summer vacation.

 

When was the last time you saw them? => Jenny asks Haruna when the last time she saw her grandparents was.

 

Haruna: About three years ago. 

=> Haruna hasn’t seen her grandparents for the last three years.

It’s been three years since she saw her grandparents.

 

Day 2 => Are you going back to Singapore, Jenny? => Haruna asks Jenny if she is going back to Singapore. 

Is this your first time to go back since you moved? => Haven’t you gone back to Singapore since you moved to Japan?

I’ll ask my parents to take me to some historical places. => Jenny wants her parents to take her to some historical places.

Day１　ジェニーは陽菜に彼女は夏休みの予定があるかと聞きます。

Jenny asks Haruna if she has any plans for summer vacation.

陽菜はこの3年間、島根に住んでいる祖父母と会っていません。

Jenny hasn’t seen her grandparents in Shimane for the last three years.

陽菜が最後に彼女の祖父母と会ってから3年が経っています。

It’s been three years since she saw her grandparents last.

 

Day 2 陽菜はジェニーにシンガポールに帰るのかと聞きます。

Haruna asks Jenny if she is going back to Singapore.

ジェニーは日本に来てから初めてシンガポールに帰ることになります。

Jenny is going to go back to Singapore for the first time after she moved to Japan.

ジェニーは日本に来てから自分の国について知るべきだと気づいたので、シンガポールで両親に歴史的に有名な場所に連れて行ってもらいたいと思っています。

Jenny realized she should learn about her own country after she came to Japan, so she wants her parents to take her to some historical places in Singapore.
