We celebrated Kaho's birthday. Yay! Her birthday is tomorrow!

Tomorrow will be cloudy again, but we will have a sunny Sunday!

• Look at the picture and talk about it. (How is Iroha? Does Amane like it?)
• Listen and talk about the story. (Where is Iroha? What are they doing in the living room?)
• Check words and phrases. Practice Japanese to English in pairs.
• Practice reading the text out loud without looking at the textbook. 
• Read it all together. 

Activity: Practice the conversation looking at Japanese translation in pairs. 

Lessons 123 (p. 22-)

• Look at the picture and talk about it. (What is Iroha doing?)
• Listen and talk about the story. (Is Monica angry? Is Monica fine with that?)
• Check words and phrases. Practice Japanese to English in pairs.
• Practice reading the text out loud without looking at the textbook. 
• Read it all together. 

Activity: Practice saying English sentences from Japanese in pairs. 

Grammar Starter Unit 12  A picnic

 (p. 56) Talk about the picture.  Review ‘How many’. => Listen and repeat the text.

Words to learn: Practice pronunciation and spelling. => Check in pairs. 

Grammar lesson: Learn how to use countable and uncountable nouns. 

Exercise-1 Read the words. => Make the list. => Check the answers all together. => Practice orally: onion => an onion  sugar => some sugar  First all together, then in pairs.
