Talk about the picture: Fiona and Minori are visiting Akihabara. Fiona tells Minori about her Valentine story.
Listen to the story and ask questions: Who is Kento’s secret admirer? – Fiona is. Is Minori surprised? – Yes, she is. What is Fiona going to do? – She is going to take Kento on a date.
Repeating. (Look up.) *Pick a student to check his/her sentence.
Check reading. => Overlapping. *Tell them to read with good rhythm and intonation.
Role-play in pairs. Take turns.

Dictation:
When Fiona and Minori are visiting Akihabara together, Fiona tells Minori that Kento’s secret admirer was Fiona.
She tells Minori that she’ll take him on a date if he says yes.
Shota says to Kento that Fiona likes him and she is like his little sister.
Shota tells Kento that he should say yes if she asks him out.

(p. 85) Take dictation. Tell them to catch the meaning. Pick a student to check the sentence and meaning.
#2-a. Complete the questions orally together. => Practice saying the questions individually for pair work. Tell them not to write the words in blanks. => Write the questions. => Read the questions one at a time by a student. => Work in pairs. Try to look at each other in the eyes.
