It's Vernal Equinox today. It's a bit stormy, isn't it?

春分の日は英語で Vernal Equinox と言います！

vernalは、春のことで、equinoxは イコールと夜の意味から来ています。

一日の中で夜と昼間の時間がちょうど同じになるので英語ではこのように言います。

どちらもラテン語が元にあるので、少し発音がわかりにくいですね。

Talk about the picture: Kento and Fiona are meeting at the park before a date. Kento wants some advice from Gota because he is very nervous.

Listen to the story and ask questions: When did Gota say to Moe “I love you.”? – He said it to her in the morning. Does Kento think love is a battle with himself? – Yes, he does.

Repeating.

Kento needs some advice from Gota before his date with Fiona.

Gota says to Kento that he needed to believe in himself before he told Kento’s mom ‘I love you.’ for the first time.

Fiona is waiting for Kento, but he isn’t there yet.

Someone tells her that she will be able to face the Yokozuna for the final round.
