Lesson Report Junior-2 July 13th

Hello class! 

This is Towako from MEL School.

How are you doing? It's nice it's not too hot, but I miss the sunshine!

The temperature is sometimes high and sometimes low.

Lesson 55 (p. 44-)

Talk about the picture. => Repeat after Teacher with the textbook closed.

CAN-DO Practice: Pick one student to have him/her say the completed sentence. => Repeat.

Write about themselves with a reason or following sentence to post to the class.

e.g. Playing the piano is one of my favorite activities. I like it because I can enjoy myself a lot./I play the piano for thirty minutes every day.

 

Lesson 56 (p. 48-)

Overlapping the text.

Practice the corrected summaries. => Pick some of the students to say them. => Repost the new one.

 

Review 14 (p. 52-)

 This Week’s Stories => Check each summary and read it out loud. => Shadowing.

This Week’s Target Sentences. => Practice and test.

Test: four sentences (Give them Japanese orally.)

1.    This is a great gym to practice basketball.

2.    It’s time to go for a walk.

3.    Running is one of my favorite activities.

4.    What kind of music do you like?

 

Lesson 57 (p. 56-)

Overlapping the text. Practice: Let’s go cherry/grape/peach/apple picking!

CAN-DO Practice: Practice the sentences. => STT (just three sentences.)


Write a summary in three sentences.

Read the text out loud all together.

Check questions and answers all together.

1.    Did Ron answer a call from the city library?

2.    Where was Ron at nine fifteen on that day?

3.    How many people were there in the classroom when Ron went there?

4.    Did Ron know one of the Asian students?

5.    When did he learn he was in the wrong classroom?

6.    Why was Ron in the wrong classroom?

ð  <Breakout> Work in pairs. Practice questions and answers. Encourage them to say them looking up!
