Check ‘This Week’s Stories’ all together. => Practice the summaries by Read and look up.

Something Good to know: => Test in August and September 

This Week’s Target Sentences: Pick a student to say one of the sentences. => Practice for the test.

Test => Post these four sentences:

I like pizza topped with mushrooms.

Where can I get used books?

Who is the girl riding a bike?

This is a book showing how to make sushi rolls.

Preparation for pair work and group work (Demonstration)

Practice-1: Memorize the summary of Lesson 61 and 63 from Review 16. Each student of the pair shows the picture of either Lesson on 76 or 84 and says the summary to a partner.

Practice-2: Look at page 85. They are going to work in groups of three like below:

                            S1: Rika, this is Rintaro.

                            S2: Hi, Rintaro. I’m Rika. Nice to meet you.

                            S3: Hi, Rika. Nice to meet you, too.

                            S2: Where do you live, Rintaro?

                            S3: I live in Suginami. What about you, Rika?

                            S2: I live in Musashi-sakai.

(pp. 57 to 58) Exercise-2

#1 Review: Read through the completed sentences. => Practice repeating with Teacher. => Practice repeating converting the subject I/we to you with Teacher.

#2 Practice saying the questions and how to answer. 


Work in pairs. Do #1 two types of repeating and #2 questions and answers.
