Lesson Report Junior-4 February 25th

Good evening, everyone! This is Towako from MEL School.

It's Friday, February 26th.
It was sunny and beautiful yesterday, but there are a lot of clouds in the sky today.
It's very cold! Please stay warm.

Warm-up: Check Teacher’s feedback and repost by STT. 

Have you been to Osaka? #3 *Make questions using ‘have you …?’ about experiences. (Present perfect for experiences.) 

*Add one more question to ask details using past or would like to. 

Demonstrate how to ask and answer. => Work in pairs. => Write and post a report about a partner. 


Live Presentation: Share students’ comments from the last time. Good example: Nako, Shinichi, Junya

Two of the students ask the presenter questions. => Write comments and post them.

Feb. 15 (Rika M, Shinichi), 18 (Nako, Junya), 22 (Rika I, Kanon), 25 (Rika I.), Mar. 1 (Ruki, Sena).

Lessons 145 and 146   

1. Talk about the picture.

2. Listen to the story.

3. Talk about the story. Pick a few students to retell the story. => Work in pairs for 1 min. each. (Focus on the content and communicate with others using English)

4. Repeat with the textbook closed.

5. Have them put slashes where they find chunks with Japanese translation. (Understanding the meaning.)

6. Teacher reads the text chunk by chunk and students repeat. Teacher gives them explanations where necessary.

*Practice how to use ‘I wish I could/were …’
