We did Conversation Pair Practice: “What do you want to eat at the moment?” (3)

Bridge to MEL Chapter 20 Unit 1

We reviewed:

Exercise 1 #5 – the conversation between Cindy and Danny, Does Cindy want to go cycling? We also looked at pictures of Santa Monica.

We also reviewed:

Exercise 2 #1-a ＊1 & ＊2

The sentences about Ron and about Ron’s classmates, and answered questions about the content (Exercise 2 #1-b).

Exercise 2 #2 We read the conversation about plans for the three-day holiday (silently), filled in the blanks, read the conversation again together, answered the questions about the content, and then practised the conversation in groups. We also looked at pictures of Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

Exercise 2 # 3-a

We read the conversation about Ron and Fred silently, answered questions about the content with the book closed, and then read the conversation together.

Lesson 101 – We described the picture, listened to the CD, and read the text. We also read the Words & Phrases (p.37), and practised the expression “What makes you happy?” (Corpus 活用情報).
