#3. Close the textbooks. => The teacher reads the text. Tell them to picture it. => Retell in pairs. Give 30 sec. each. Do one text at a time. => Open the textbooks. Have them answer the questions individually. The teacher checks if they use correct grammar while they work.

Ask them if they remember the previous story on page 127.

Help them remember what happened in the first story.

Tell them they are going to try scanning, and how to scan the text and the objective.

Answer the questions by scanning. Give them 1 min to underline where to find the answer. => Check the answers. Have them explain where they underlined and how to answer the questions. => Read the text out loud together.

Write in English individually. => Listen and check.
