Read the conversation aloud. Check the homework.

Homework: Answer the questions (2) and (3)

(p. 71) Grammar and Communication-2

Have them close the textbook. => Repeat the sentences. => Give them Japanese and have them say the sentences in English.

=> Open the textbook and read the sentences aloud.

=> Practice in pairs. One student says them Japanese and the other one says them in English.

Exercise-2

#1 Study the example.

1. Read the given sentence. => Make sentences orally in class.

2. Give them one min. to practice saying the sentences.

3. Say both sentences of each problem in class.

#2 Complete the conversation orally in class. => Practice the conversation in pairs.

Homework: Fill in the blanks.

-      Talk about the picture. => Listen to the CD.

-       Answer the questions: When did the accident happen? Who has a secret? Are RoboCorpus and Lex going to talk to the boy?

-       Read the text aloud in good rhythm and pronunciation with good intonation.

Vocabulary: (1) that – different usages   Have them find three “that”s in the text and think of the difference.

Task: Dictation 

Jukichi tells RoboCorpus and Lex about the girl. There was an accident a few months ago. RoboCorpus shows some quotes about promises to the boy because he never gives up.
