It's sunny today.
『as 形容詞 as』 に続いて、My mom gets up early. I get up early, too. But I don't get up as early as my mom. のように、『as 副詞 as』 を使い、「AはBと同じように...する」「AはBほどには...しない」の表現を学習しました。

Our speakers yesterday were Saki and Aika.
Saki talked about her summer vacation. She went to Miyakojima, Okinawa with her family. She has been to the main island many times but it was her first time to visit Miyakojima. They spent three days at the beach and enjoyed swimming with sea turtles and many other fish. The night sky was so beautiful with so many stars.
Aika also talked about her summer vacation. She visited Karuizawa with her family and her dad's friend's family. They couldn't play at the athletic attractions or enjoy fishing this time, which they usually do there every summer, but they did BBQ together and had a great time.
Next speakers are Yuina and Shiho. Get ready for your speech!
