Today’s Scene: Have a student read it.

Vocabulary: fireworks, a fireworks display, river, the riverside

*Write the words and phrases on the board. 

Talk about the picture: Fiona and Kento come to the riverside with the Maruis. They are going to watch fireworks.

Listen to the story and ask questions: Does Fiona like fireworks? – Yes, she does. She likes fireworks. Is she scared of fireworks? – Yes, she is. Why is she scared of fireworks? – She is scared of fireworks because she doesn’t like loud noises.

 

Repeat the lines without looking at the textbook.
