Lesson Report Junior-2 May 30th

Hello class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 
It’s Tuesday, May 31st, 2016.
It's sunny today.
Is everyone happy today? I hope no one was late for school this morning.

Our speaker yesterday was Aika.
Aika talked about herself and her family. She plays tennis at her school six times a week. And her twin sister, Yuina plays basketball at school. Aika doesn't play basketball with her, but Yuina is her favorite person in her family. She is always fun to be with. Her dad is an office worker and her mom works at a cafe. Aika loves spending time with her family.
The next speakers are Rina and Shiho. Get ready for your speech!

Speech Topic: "All about me!"
1. You will talk about you, your physical descriptions and your school life.
   (your name, age, eyes, hair, clothes, school routine, what you like doing in your free time)

5:45スタートクラスのみなさんは、今回からスピーチトピックが新しくなりました。
下記Speech Topicを参照してきちんと準備をしましょう。

Our speakers yesterday were Mei and Yuki.
Mei talked about herself and her school routine. She gets up at 5 on weekdays. She also showed us a picture of her favorite singer, Ariana Grande. She listens to her music when she goes to school and also on the way home from school.
Yuki talked about herself and her family. She is a member of the flower arrangement club at school. Her dad is a president of a company and her mom also runs a company and works at home. She is Chinese and Yuki can speak Chinese, too. So, Yuki and her mom always talk in Chinese at home.
The next speakers are Rina and Aika. Get ready for your speech!

Ayami talked about herself and her family. She has a family of five. Her mom works at a hobby store. Her dad usually gets back from work late at night. She always fights over a snack or other things with her little brother and her older sister.

Saki talked about herself and her family. Her dad likes watching baseball games on TV. His favorite professional baseball team is Hanshin. Her mom is an office worker and cooks well. Saki's favorite dish from her cooking is gratin. Her brother is a university student. He can play many different sports. He can swim, play tennis, do Judo and more.
Yuri talked about herself and her family. She is a member of the school basketball club. Her mom is a nursery teacher. She is very kind to children but strict with them sometimes. Yuri's sister is a university student. She is kind and dependable and she often teaches Yuri English.

Hello class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 
It’s Tuesday, May 17th 2016.
It's rainy today.
What color is your hair? What color are your eyes?
We learned some vocabularies for physical descriptions yesterday.

Our speakers yesterday were Aoi and Koki.
Aoi talked about herself and her family. Her mom is a nursery teacher. She is cute and cooks well. Her grandparents live in Kagawa. Aoi sometimes visits them during holidays. Her grandma likes growing vegetables in her garden. Aoi's favorite vegetable is potatoes from her grandma's garden. Her grandpa was a sailor. Aoi also likes spending time with her cousins as well.
Koki talked about himself and his family. He is a member of the school table tennis club. He won some matches last year.  His mom sometimes works at a cake shop. She never brings cake home but brings home other baked confectionary sometimes.  His dad works at school as a geography teacher. He is always strict with Koki but not on his studying.

基礎英語は5月のお話が始まりましたね。今後の展開を楽しみに毎日学習しましょう。

Our speakers yesterday were Mao and Yui.
Mao talked about herself and her family. She has a family of four. Her dad is always busy but he goes swimming on weekends. Her sister practices playing the piano every day. Her family often visits Kagawa on holidays because her parents are from there. They like to eat Udon when they visit Kagawa.
Yui talked about herself and her family. She is a member of the school drama club. She loves doing it. Her club won the grand prize in the last contest.  She has a family of four. Her dad is an office worker. Her mom is good at cooking and sewing. Yui likes hamburg steak the best from her mom's cooking.  Her mom also makes delicious desserts, too.

Lesson Report Junior-1 May 10th

Hello class! This is Towako from MEL School.
How are you today?
It's Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
It's rainy today.
昨日のレッスンからいよいよEngageのUnit 1に入りました。
いろいろな国の言い方を練習しましたね。
登場人物も様々な国の出身でした。
国の名前は正確に発音できるようにしておきましょう。
he, she, it, they の使い方にも慣れてきましたか?
上手に言えて書けるようにしていきましょうね!
Phonicsは次回から新しいルールの学習に入ります。
初めて見る単語をスラスラ読めて、書けるように頑張りましょう!

Lesson Report Junior-2 May 9th

Hello class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 
It’s Tuesday, May 10th 2016.
It's cloudy today.
Did you enjoy your holiday with your friends and family?
We learned a lot from the Show and Tell by Shintaro yesterday. It was impressive! (J2-L class)

Our speakers yesterday were Hajime and Mayu.
Hajime talked about her family. She has a family of four. Both her father and mother like reading books. They are editors. Her brother is 7 years old and does Kendo.  Hajime likes spending time with them but she thinks it sometimes gets stressful.
Mayu talked about herself and her family. She is on the school band and plays the clarinet. She can also play the flute and the piano. She has a family of four. Her father is an office worker and her mother is a calligrapher.  Her sister is a member of the cooking club at school. She is good at making sweets like cake and tart.
The next speakers are Mao and Yui. Get ready for your speech! Don't forget your smile. 

Speech Topic: "My family"
1. You will introduce about yourself first.
2. Then, you can introduce your family, starting with a phrase "Let me introduce my family to you."
3. Lastly, you can conclude your speech by talking about something about you and your family.

Lesson Report Junior-3 May 9th

Hello class! This is Towako from MEL School.
How are you doing?
It's cloudy today.
Did you enjoy the Show and tell by Shintaro?
Most of you seemed impressed!
Many of you had a hard time to do the test yesterday.
As I told you, you need to be able to talk about yourself.
The special guest speaker yesterday was Shintaro.
He talked about his grandfather..
He fought as a soldier in Manchuria in the Pacific war .
He worked in Siberia for eleven years after he was captured.
He returned home from his detention in a Siberian labor camp when the war ended.
We understood his story very well as he showed us a lot of pictures and things when he spoke.
The next speaker is Hikaru.

Lesson Report Junior-2 May 2nd

Hello class! This is Miharu from MEL School. 
It’s Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016.
It's sunny today.
Are you enjoying your holiday with your friends and family? Please tell us about your stories on Monday.

Our speakers yesterday were Riku and Kanata.
Riku talked about his family. He lives with his father, his mother and his sister. His dad is a TV commercial director. He likes his mom because she is always kind to him. His sister likes dancing, but Riku never dances with her.
Kanata talked about his family. He has a family of four. His parents work for companies. His brother is tall and handsome and plays volleyball. Kanata used to play volleyball, too.  He plays soccer now and he is in the school soccer team.
