Lesson Report Junior-2 September 30th


Lesson Report for Monday, September 30th, 2019.

It’s Monday, September 30th, 2019. It’s the last day of September, but it’s still very warm! It’s really still like Summer, not Autumn, isn’t it?!

We enjoyed a Presentation by Madoka – My Favourite School Event, and posted comments about it.

We reviewed the Recap Test, p.103!

We practised the use of “will” to talk about the weather and Shinkansen announcements.

基礎英語3 September Issue
We reviewed Lessons 73 & 74, and rewrote the reports of our partner’s schedule, based on part of the text for Lesson 73.

Lesson 75 – We described the picture, listened to the CD, and did an STT Task using “consist/s of” and “One is ~ . The other is ~ .” which were included in the text of Lesson 75.

The STT sentences were as follows:
“A soccer team consists of 11 members.
My breakfast consists of ~ ~ ~ , and ~ .
Our lesson consists of two parts. One is before the break. The other is after the break.”

We listened to and read Lesson 76, and wrote a Summary of it, choosing any of the following subjects: Boon, Ms. Saito, Sylphie

Lesson 73
Listen to the story => Answer the question. => Listen again. => Tell the partner the story. => => Check the vocabulary. => Learn how to retell the story. => Repeating
Question: What’s Boon’s schedule?
Retell: Ms. Saito tells the class Boon will proceed to the national contest of the English Vocabulary Contest. They are going to prepare for it, so Ms. Saito asks Boon about his schedule. He says he can practice during the lunch break or after school except for Wednesdays.

Lesson 74
Listen to the story => Answer the questions. => Check the vocabulary. => Read it aloud => Pair repeating
Question: What are they going to do?
Task: Write what they are going to do in three sentences with good explanation.
They are going to fight the negatives. Sylphie says they can’t escape from them, so they have to fight them. RoboCorpus agrees with her and decides to protect the humans from dark forces.

Practice the pronunciation.
