Lesson Report Junior-1 February 27th

Hello everyone in new J2 class!  
This is Miharu from MEL School.
It’s Thursday, February 27th, 2020.
It was sunny and windy today.  

Due to the precaution against the spread of coronavirus infection, we will have online lesson starting on Monday, March 2nd. Please follow the instructions you will be receiving over the weekend.

1.  Key Communication   p.201 
 1. Make English sentences orally while reading the Japanese sentences.
2. Write each sentence in notebook.
3. Go back to page 193 and check.
4. Work in pairs. Japanese=>English and Conversations all in English!

1. Review the questions phrases using: What, What time, Where, How, How long…?

It was a holiday today, wasn’t it?! In fact, it was a substitute holiday for the Emperor’s birthday yesterday, which was a Sunday.

Students present their essays (reports) about their partners from the last lesson. Topic:“What did you do this week?”
Each student memorizes the corrected writing on Edmodo from the last lesson for 1 min. and makes a speech to a new partner.

3.          Have a casual talk in pairs for 1 min. each.
Topic: “What did you do on the weekend? “=>add more questions =>

4.          Essay typing <Edmodo> Topic: What did you do on the weekend?

Bridge Work Chapter 12 Unit1

1.   Exercise-3-a, p.199   
 1. Study the chart. It’s 9 at night.
 2. Practice the conversation.
 3. Work in pairs and ask each other about the weather.

2.   Exercise-3-b, p.199
 1. The situation is now 2 in the afternoon.
 2. Complete the conversation by looking at the chart.
3. Practice the conversation.

3.   Exercise-3-d, p.199 
 1. Practise the Quiz conversation: Where was the person yesterday?
2. Students give each other hints, and try to guess where the person was yesterday.
