Today’s Scene: Have a student read it.

Vocabulary: show, Japanese sweets, there, join

*Write the words and phrases on the board. 

Talk about the picture: Shota is showing Fiona Japanese sweets in the dining room. Gota is there, too. Kento joins them. 

Listen to the story and ask questions: Did Kento eat Japanese sweets? No, he didn’t. Why? 

 

Repeat the lines without looking at the textbook.

Check reading. => Role-play in pairs. Take turns.

Dictation: 

Shota is showing Fiona some Japanese sweets in the dining room.

Kento doesn’t eat it because he is jealous.

Fiona’s chopsticks are green, and Minori likes them.

Gota gave them to Fiona, and she can use them well.
