Today’s Scene

Talk about the picture: Shota has some bags of snacks on the table in the living room. They are red and have foreign words on them.  

Listen to the story and ask questions: Where are the spicy snacks from? -> They are from Korea. What does Gota like? -> He likes wasabi. How is the snack? -> It’s so hot.

Check reading. => Role-play in pairs. Take turns.

Dictation 

Shota has some bags of snacks from Korea on the table in the living room.  

They are really spicy, but Gota wants to try some because he likes wasabi. 

Fiona and Shota meet a yukionna on the way home from a Japanese sweet café. 

She says the tournament is not over, so Fiona needs to start training again.

Check Step 1. Pay attention to the colors and shapes that indicate sentence structure.  

Check chunks. => I went / to my grandparents’ house.
