Check Step 1. Pay attention to the colors and shapes that indicate sentence structure.

Talk about the picture: Fiona and Kento are talking about Kento’s secret admirer. Kento found something in his shoe locker on Valentine’s Day. He shows it to Fiona. 

Listen to the story and ask questions: What is the clue? – It’s perfume. What’s the name of the girl with glasses? – It’s Saki. Who likes perfume? – Minori does. Does Fiona think Minori is Kento’s secret admirer? – No, she doesn’t.
