Lesson 68 => Shadowing and rewriting the summary from the last time.

Lesson 69
-       Look at the picture => Say what they can tell from the picture.
-       Listen to the CD and answer the questions:
         Why is Sho late today?
         What does Yota say about a sprained ankle?
         Why does Yota want Yoko to get better by the Sakurayama Senior Marathon?
         What does Miki say about Mimiko and Yoko?


-       Listen and repeat, then make a summary orally individually. => Work in pairs.
-       Study the model: Yota and Miki ask Sho why he is late for school today. Sho tells them he took Yoko to the hospital because of her sprained ankle. Yota hopes Yoko gets better by Sakurayama Senior Marathon to keep winning.

-       Post a summary to Edmodo.

-       Activity: Study the examples of sprained, broken, burned, injured. => Have a brief conversation in pairs starting with “Have you ever broken your leg?”

Lesson 70
-       Look at the picture => Say what they can tell from the picture.
-       Listen to the CD and answer the questions:
Why does Mimiko have to stay with Yoko?
What did Yoko promise Naoki?
What does Mimiko say everyone has?
-       Read the text aloud in class.
-       Memorize the conversation and practice in pairs.
