-       Talk about the story.
-       Practice reading it out loud in class.
-       Practice phrases and expressions: I’m interested in … => Are you interested in …?  He sounded like a different person. (Compare ‘He sounded different.’)
-       Repeat after Teacher without looking at the text.

-       Talk about the picture on the page. => Listen to the CD.
-       Read the text aloud in good rhythm, with good pronunciation and intonation.
-       Write a summary of the story.
-       Subjects and (verbs): Mika and Mari …, Yukichi …, Ken …
