Lesson Report for Monday, November 4th, 2019.
Hello, Class! This is Caroline from MEL School.
It’s Monday, November 4th, 2019. Halloween has gone by,
and it’s already November! Yesterday, November 3rd, was Culture Day, but because it was Sunday, today was a substitute national holiday, wasn’t it?

基礎英語3 October Issue
We reviewed Lessons 93 & 94, and rewrote our last Summaries.

Lesson 95 – We described the picture, listened to the CD, read the text,
and checked the Words & Phrases.
We also looked at the different meanings of [’s] in: “What’s the matter?” => “What is the matter?” / “It’s been a while.” => “It has been a while.” / “Let’s get out of here.” => “Let us get out of here.”

Lesson 96 – We described the picture, listened to the CD, read the text, and checked the Words & Phrases.
We also looked at: “I didn’t know (that) you had such a difficult situation at home.” And “I’m so glad (that) you two made up.”
