It's rainy and chilly today.
Most of you said you were going to school today.
Hope you are home now and feel warm!

基礎英語1(10月号)

Review - Activity: What are you good at? 

  • I’m good at singing, but I’m bad at drawing. 

Write reports about Shunsuke, Seigo, Riona, Minaha, and Hanako.


Lessons 106 (p. 34-)

  • Look at the picture and talk about it. (What are Monica and Ritsuko doing?)
  • Listen and talk about the story. (Who is Monica calling? Is Amane home?)
  • Check words and phrases. 
  • Practice reading the text out loud without looking at the textbook. Then Japanese to English.
  • Practice saying English sentences from Japanese in pairs.


Lessons 107 (p. 38-)

  • Look at the picture and talk about it. (How does Iroha look?)
  • Listen and talk about the story. (What is Monica good at? Is Monica going to teach Iroha dancing?) 
  • Practice reading the text out loud.
  • Role-play in pairs.

Exercise-3 Do it all together. => Practice in pairs. 


Speech Navigator Unit 2 Our School

Talk: Write notes for a conversation. => Demonstrate the conversation. => Have the conversation in pairs. => Write a report about a partner.
