Review - Activity: What are you good at? 

Reports about Shunsuke, Seigo, Riona, Minaha, and Hanako.


Lessons 108 (p. 42-)

  • Look at the picture and talk about it. (What are Monica and Amane doing? They’re talking to each other on the phone.)
  • Listen and talk about the story. (Does Amane have time now? When’s Monica’s birthday? Where does Monica have her birthday party?)
  • Check words and phrases. 
  • Practice reading the text out loud without looking at the textbook. Then Japanese to English.
  • Practice the conversation looking at Japanese in pairs.


Lessons 109 (p. 46-)

  • Look at the picture and talk about it. (Who is Monica talking to?)
  • Listen and talk about the story. (Are Darsh and Adra home now? When is Monica’s birthday?) 
  • Practice reading the text out loud without looking at the textbook. Then Japanese to English.
  • Role-play in pairs.
