 Hello everyone!  This is Kumiko from Mel School. 

It was chilly and rainy in Tokyo today.  I like watching the rain falling onto hydrangeas.

Today’s Scene  Ken is trying to get used to his life in Japan. After school, Hinako comes to his house.  Hinako says Ken is different. 

Today’s Story

Questions:

What are they going to play?  They are going to play Go. 

When do Ken and Hinako play Go?  They always play Go on Mondays.

Today’s Key Point  We always play Go on Mondays.

Lesson 32 朝型人間？   In America, Ken got up late.  His mother drove him to school.  But in Japan, he gets up early.  He wears his uniform and walks to school.  One morning, Hinako talks to him.

Questions:

Is Ken sleepy?  Yes, he is.  He is super sleepy.

What time does Ken usually get up?  American Ken usually gets up at eight o’clock.

1.      What time do you usually leave home?  I usually leave home at 7:30.

2.      What time is it?  It’s six o’clock.

3.      What time do you usually eat dinner?  I usually eat at 7 o’clock.
