This time, you practiced one of the most important MEL-4 skills: retelling.
音声を聞きながらメモを取り、ストーリーの流れを整理して、自分の言葉で説明する練習をしました。
Rather than simply repeating the dialogue, you focused on explaining the situation clearly.
今回は、
- Emilia talking about school life in Japan and Texas
- differences in school lunch
- cleaning at school
- moments when Shingo wanted to say something but couldn’t express it in English
などを整理しながら retelling に取り組みました。
ペアでも retelling を行い、相手に伝わるように説明する練習をしましたね。
This kind of practice helps turn passive understanding into active communication.
